Environmental Management System – ISO 14001 

At Bailey Tanks we pride ourselves on continual improvement. As environmental protection is important to us, we are in the process of creating and implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS) which combines an Environmental Management System (EMS) and a Quality Management System (QMS). You can read more about our QMS under the ‘Product quality’ tab. 

An EMS helps organisations to decrease their environmental impact by improving their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. We are working toward becoming ISO 14001 certified, which is an internationally agreed standard that defines the requirements for an EMS. 

Below is our Environmental Policy, which sets the expectations of our organisation and its employees:

Bailey Tanks Ltd is committed to sustainable growth and preserving the quality of the environment by managing our environmental impacts as defined in our Environmental Management System. We commit to: 

  • Protect the environment and prevent pollution through our business practices and maintaining facility operational controls. 

  • Comply with environmental laws and meet other requirements we subscribe to as part of our business operations. 

  • Continually improve our environmental performance and environmental management system by setting objectives that are appropriate to the purpose and context of our organisation, including the nature, scale and environmental impacts of our activities, products and services.
